Simply, very useful, educative & interesting share about the Iranian community in Bombay, now known as Mumbai. We must preserve the rich culture of such a beautiful small community living in Dongri & allow the legacy to flourish in Bombay, India.
Adding to yours; the description in The Hindustani; The Kshatriya class known as warrior class in the Hindu social order in India lost almost all of its land after the abolition of Zamindari (landlordism) in India in the 1960s. Many people among the warrior class dislike Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation who was responsible for the Zamindari abolition. Of course, not me and my family.
I belong to the same warrior class and my late parents lost all the land. My family moved from another state to my current home state back then(not aware of the year).
